Rural Organizing Initiative is a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation founded in June of 2023. 

Mission:

Rural Organizing Initiative (ROI) promotes full participation in democracy by educating communities on how and why their participation has an impact and supporting and promoting candidates for city and county offices who are aligned with our values.

Vision:

We envision a world where everyone has the resources needed to fully participate in democracy, public leaders are accountable to their community, and there is space for everyone to lead.

Our work is guided by the following values:

• We consider the well being of future generations and all living things

• People have agency to shape their own lives and stories

• Everyone needs, and deserves, to be heard
