NOTE: If you are an Independent, you will need to request which party’s ballot you would like to vote in for the Primary Election. You should have received a postcard from your County Recorder asking you which ballot you would like to vote on.

Voting by Mail
If you sign up to receive your ballot by mail, you will receive it 20 days prior to election day. It is recommended to return the ballot by mail or in a drop box as quickly as you are able to.

There are 19 drop boxes within Yavapai County. Any of them can be used to return your ballot. Make sure you have signed your ballot and sealed it before putting it in the drop box!

Voting Early In Person
Early in person voting is available 8am-5pm Monday-Friday from July 3-July 26 for the Primary Election and October 9-November 1 for the General Election.

Early In Person Voting
There are 3 places in Yavapai County where you can vote early in person.
Cottonwood: Yavapai County Cottonwood Annex, 10 S 6th Street from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
Prescott: Yavapai County Administration Building, 1015 Fair Street from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
Prescott Valley: Next to the Library, 7351 E Skoog Blvd, from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday
Voting In Person on Election Day
The polls are open from 6am-7pm on Election Day, which is July 30 for the Primary Election and November 5 for the General Election.
Vote Centers on Election Day
Yavapai County voters may use ANY of the 27 vote centers within the county to vote. Vote centers are open from 6am-7pm on Election Day.
